Fall has arrived and October is going to be a busy one at Sweet Yarns.
October 1st - October 1st is the release day for our latest Toque Kits. This month's pattern is designed by me, Joy's Cables. It's a slouchy hat knit in DK weight yarn. There are Standard and Luxury Kits avaialble. Stop by to pick out the right colour for you or someone else.
Also, make sure to share your finished toques in our Ravelry thread. We love seeing how each hat looks in different colours.

Sweater KAL - We've got a great selection of sweaters that customers are knitting up right now during our Sweater Knit-A-Long. You are welcome to join in if you haven't yet. We're meeting evert second Thursday and hoping to have our sweaters completed by the end of November.
Berroco Trunk Show - The samples are here! Berroco sent us some samples of their yarn knit up. The trunk show is all set up but it's here for a limited time. Stop in before Friday, October 11th to check them out.
October 12 to 14 - Sweet Yarns will be closed Saturday, October 14th to Monday, October 14th to celebrate the holiday. Make sure to stop in before hand so you have lots of yarns to craft on the long weekend.
October 18th - The third Friday of the month is Seniors' Discount Day. Stop in on Friday, October 18th between 10AM and 5PM to get your discount!

October 19th - We're so excited! Elegantly Twisted Yarns will be visiting with a trunk show on Saturday, October 19th. Come see Andrea the dyer in person and check out all her fabulous yarns she is bringing with her from Nova Scotia.
October 31st - Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, so for that day only we're changing our hours. Sweet Yarns will be open 10AM to 4PM to accommodate Trick-or-Treating.
Classes
We've got our classes underway at Sweet Yarns. You can sign up for scheduled ones on our website or in store. If you're looking to learn something we don't currently have scheduled, we are always happy to book a private lesson. Contact the store and we'll work out all the details.
