Summer @ Sweet Yarns
The days will be getting warmer soon and everyone’s schedule will change – time for holidays, trips, visits to camp, playing in the dirt and the water. Sweet Yarns’ hours are going to remain the same but we’re scaling back on other things.

Crafting Fun this Summer

Knit in Public Day

Bring your lawn chair and your knitting down to Sweet Yarns, and join us on Saturday, June 10th for World Wide Knit In Public Day. We’ll be sitting out front from 10:AM to 2:00PM. Cold beverages will be available along with our usual hot ones. Donations to the coffee fund are greatly appreciated. If it’s raining, we’ll move inside. Come for an hour or bring your lunch and stay all day.

Northern Ontario Yarn Crawl
Sweet Yarns is thrilled to be one of the stops on the first ever Northern Ontario Yarn Crawl. A lot of big cities run a yarn crawl where you try to get to all the yarn stores in one weekend. Since each of the Northern cities only have one yarn show each, we’re running our even for July and August, giving you lots of time to get to all of us. There are summer deals at each shop and exclusive items for crawlers to purchase. Participating stores are: The Match Factory (New Liskeard), Stix and Stones (North Bay), Knitting Three Together (Huntsville), Diane’s Creative Elements (Sturgeon Falls), and Sweet Yarns (Sudbury). Stop by one of the shops to get your postcard and find out more details. Special thanks to Bea at The Match Factory for organizing the fun.
