June - getting things back to a little more normal

I am thrilled to say that June is going to look a little more normal for Sweet Yarns. After changes from the Ontario government a couple weeks ago, we are now allowed to have some customers inside the store. There are some changes though so please read through below.

Hopefully things will continue to stay positive for our province as well as our city and we can continue the new normal that's a little more open. If things change, I will let you know.
We've also got a few things going on so make sure to check it out.
Thanks once again for all your support of Sweet Yarns throughout this.
SHOPPING
Customers are now allowed inside the store. We are limiting the number of people in the store, so please only 3 customers at a time. We have hand sanitizer available on the counter for your use.
For the next little while, we won't be allowing customers to wander through the store. This was decided to ensure that the store stays a safe place where customers can feel comfortable coming in, as well as to reduce the amount of cleaning needed to be done each day. I can bring yarn to the counter to show you so you can shop in person rather than just online.
Curbside pick up and free delivery in Greater Sudbury will continue as some customers may not feel comfortable going out yet.
You can always shop through our website. We will continue to do phone, email and message shopping to help you as well.
I've decided to keep the same hours for the next little while. The store will be open:
Tuesdays - 10AM to 5PM
Thursdays - 1PM to 6PM
Saturday - 10AM to 3PM
Or by appointment. Please contact the store to book a time.
Because there are still limits on gatherings, we will continue our weekly virtual get-togethers. Both are now being run through Facebook Live only. The videos get saved so you can watch them later too.

Virtual Craft Break - Mondays at 12:30PM (half an hour)

Virtual Knit Night - Thursdays at 6:30PM (one hour)
Knit in Public Day on Saturday, June 13th - To keep up with physical distancing this year, we aren't hosting an event at the store but still want to participate. So spend some time outside knitting (or crocheting) and send the store your picture. Facebook message or email works best. I'll make an album of the pictures after on the store's Facebook page.

I'll be kicking off the event with a little Facebook Live on Saturday morning at 10:30.
Sunday, June 29th - Sweet Yarns' 10th anniversary is coming up at the end of the month. It would have been great to have a party but we can't with the current situation. So I am planning something but it's not all worked out yet. More information will be out as soon as possible so stay tuned.
Stay safe and healthy! Hope you are enjoying your time at home.
